Anyone know about Dell, they have a new monitor in 23 class http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Displays/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-7641

Also Samsung is due to have this one out soon http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/13/samsungs-led-backlit-p2370l-lcd-monitor-looks-good-for-399/

I think I just read either on cnet or engaget that the dell is a really good one. Can't go wrong with either of those 2 I'd say

Since i cant wait for the new Samsung I ordered the dell...I like the touch free controls on these newer monitors, gives it a higher quality feel.
I think Insty bought a large Dell years ago.....how did that work out for ya ???

You know Dell doesn't make them right? Last I heard they purchased from SAMSUNG but that might have changed by now.

Oh, and a lot of the other off-brand monitors out there? Yeah, SAMSUNG makes most panels out there... BUT what they do is grade them by responsiveness, contrast, etc and they keep the high grade ones and sell off the poorer ones.

Actually Some of Samsungs branded monitors are not even made by Samsung at all.
Cant find the article, but I found that sad . I took a goood hard look at the Rose Black series of Samsung monitor, and the bleed through at the top and bottom seems to be a serious matter, not all are as noticable as some .

Damn this monitor is so Sweeeeeeet!
The touchless controls make this monitor feel very pricey
the picture is very nice. So far getting used to the wide screen is the only issue, however I dont think I will ever have to scroll left to right anymore.
WoW looks amazing!

The screen developed a thin green line horizontally from top to bottom?
I finally figured out how to get through to Dell support at around 6pm they had a new one out at 10am the next morning at my front door? The new moniter flickers a bit on start up.
So the service at dell seems unbelievabe, but this model might be shiat!
